APEC development: new background and prospective

　　Abstract: During the last two decades, APEC had experienced prosperous and stagnation, with the launch of TPP by the United States in 2009, it seemed that APEC began to attract more attention from its members. But this paper argued that, historically speaking, promoting TPP means that US is undergoing an attitude change towards APEC, and this change itself and the reflections of APEC members to it may proved to be a curse to the development of APEC.
