Abstract: With the end of cold war and the rising of multiculturalism, ethnic lobbying becomes more and more important in American politics. Indian-American lobby groups played a very important role in the process of ratifying the Indo-U.S. nuclear deal through providing guarantee for the high support lever of the relevant bills; and most important consequence is to strengthen India’s strategic position in the U.S. strategic calculation. Indian-American lobby will pose bigger influence on U.S. future South Asian policies, broader Asian policies and even world policies.
