The Hindu-Christian Conflicts in India

Abstract: The most serious conflict since the Independence between the Indian Christians and the Hindu extremists in Orissa, India in 2008, shows the particularity of violence against the minorities in Orissa as well as complexity of Indian society. It also reflects new contradictions and challenges for Indian political and social development in the age of globalization.
