Abstract:India started its New Border Policy in 1988.Due to the consideration of both national security and regional economic integration, the Indian government expanded this policy to the so-called “Arunachal Pradesh” in 1999.The focus of this policy is infrastructure building, especially the transport facilities building and promotion of trade and tourism.However, the effects of this policy have not been good because of various reasons.
