Can Geographical Principles Demonstrate the Validity of the McMahon Line?

　　Abstract: The problem of McMahon Line is an important factor in the Sino-Indian border dispute.This problem, left over by history, played a negative role in the Sino-Indian Relations.In 1950-60s,the Indian government insisted that the so-called geographical principles could demonstrate the validity of the McMahon Line.This article analyses in particular the meaning of geographical principles and then clarifies in both the theory aspect and the practice aspect that the so-called geographical principles cannot demonstrate the validity of the McMahon Line and is just an efficient amse of the Sino-Indian border conflict and war.
