Indian Muslims’ Dilemma in Development and Indian Government’s Policy

  ABSTRACT: Since independence, especially since India’s economic reforms in the early 1990s, India’s economy has grown rapidly and the social development has improved with great speed. However, Indian Muslims have not fully enjoy the benefits of such development and they face a serious dilemma in social, economic and cultural development. The plight of Indian Muslims results from many factors. In order to promote the development of Muslims and other minorities, the Indian government has adopted a series of measures.
