On the Cakrasamvara Tantra and Cakrasamvaravivrtti

　　ABSTRACT: Cakrasamvara Tantra is one of the most important scriptures in the mothe-tantra of Anuttarayoga of Vajrayana of Tantric Buddhism. It has also exerted a tremendous influence upon Tibetan Buddhism. Cakrasamvaravivrtti by Bhavabhatta which was written in the remote past is very important in content. However, there has been no Chinese version so far. This paper has made a review of the texts and main content of both works and voiced the author’s position.
