Inclusive Growth: Background, Concept and Indian Experiences

  ABSTRACT: Inclusive growth, as a new theory of economic and social development, aims to allow the outcome of economic globalization and economic development benefit all countries and regions as well as all peoples, by focusing on economic development, adhering to social fairness and justice, people-oriented approach, and through the implementation of poverty reduction policies, expansion of productive employment, improving human resources and social support capabilities and in many other ways. This paper reviews the birth and background of inclusive growth theory, summarizes the contents of the concept, and sums up the main approaches to implement inclusive growth in India.
