India- Australia Relations：New Development in the Post Cold War Scenario

　　ABSTRACT: From the neglected relations to a strategic partnership, India -Australia relations have gone through a long journey of evolution. This paper makes a review of the evolution of India- Australia relations during the Cold War and examines the new developments of bilateral ties in political, economic, military and cultural spheres over the past two decades. The two countries share increasing common economic, security and strategic interests, but there are still many constraining factors shrouding deeper India-Australia relations.
