ABSTRACT: Buddhism and Mimāmsā are the schools that do not give high position to god in the history of India. In the development of the two schools, there are certain changes in their god concepts. Both schools deny the real god that can create the world, but the degrees and the starting points of their denying are different. The god concepts of the two have close relevance with the basic tendencies of their theoretical systems. To analyze and compare the content in this respect is helpful for us to understand the characteristics of Indian religious philosophy, and is also of great significance in deepening our research of the oriental culture.
