A Comparative Study of Vedānta’s Māyā Theory and Buddhist Sunya Concept

  ABSTRACT: Vedānta and Buddhism were two major schools in the history of Indian thought. Māyā theory and Sunya concept were respectively dominant in the two schools. To clarify the connotation and historical development of the theories, to compare and analyze their similarities and differences, is of positive significance for understanding the essence or core thought of Indian philosophy and the features of Oriental culture.
