Scholars deeply analyzed major difficulties and challenges for the peaceful development of China and Asia, including the contradiction between the rebalancing strategy of US in Asia-Pacific region, together with the East Asian international system dominated by US, and the increasing development of China’s power, the ongoing deadlock caused by the island dispute in the process of structurally adjusting China-Japan relations, territorial disputes with neighboring countries such as the Philippines, Vietnam, and other problems with them, and other threats and challenges in the process of peaceful development of China.
